On their behalf we are seeking a Level 2 Engineer, to become a key support person for the companies’ clients. You will split your time working with clients on their site, as well as remotely from the East Tamaki office, or from your home-based office.
The Role:
- Provide a wide variety of L2 remote service desk support across many technologies.
- Provide onsite support to Auckland based customers.
- Providing technical support with Windows, MS Server, Azure, O365, AD, Firewalls, Exchange, Hardware, MS Teams and more.
- Capture all required and relevant information and update tickets.
- Identify and investigate issues and errors before they impact a client’s service.
- Work with a highly experienced team of Engineers and Technical Account Managers to maintain best practice.
- To continue to learn and upskill.
About You:
- Min 1-2+ years working in a Level 2 position and preferably in an MSP environment.
- Experience in providing remote / onsite support to a variety of businesses / end users.
- A general knowledge of technical infrastructure from desktop to firewalls.
- Good technical diagnostic & problem-solving skills
- Support of Remote Desktop services
- An understanding of ITIL and customer service principles
- Backup Systems and Technologies (Shadow Protect, Veeam)
- Office 365 Admin experience
- Experience using ticketing systems, in particular, Halo PSA
- Azure Virtual Desktop experience
- Windows Server Administration experience
- Networking Skills – LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, Firewalls, Routers, Switches/ AP’s (Ruckus)
- Current Microsoft certifications are an advantage.
- Professional presentation with excellent customer service
- Must have fibre in your home office and be able to use your own vehicle which will be compensated at IRD mileage allowance rates.
- NZ Permanent Resident, Citizen or NZ working rights.
