A rare opportunity exists to join this world-renowned business as a Service Advisor in their Auckland branch. Reporting into the Service Manager this role is responsible for on the ball customer service, growing service sales through planned maintenance and providing customers with timely updates throughout their service repair experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service (Technical Communication between the workshop and customer);

Monitor and schedule workshop bookings;

Up selling service sales;
-
Opening and closing jobs;

Provide sound mechanical advice where required
You will need
-
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Service Advisory or other related industry role (Automotive or Diesel mechanic)

Sound knowledge of North American or European trucks, and other associated products sold within the industry.

Ability to read and interpret technical catalogues, bulletins and support literature.

Competent computer skills including the demonstrated use of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook/Word/Excel).

Ability to work un-supervised.

A relevant trade qualified is not necessary but highly desirable as is a Certificate in Parts Interpreting or Service Advising (Partial completion is also fine)
