Working with small to medium businesses, they provide customised solutions around Employee Relations and Health and Safety in the workplace. Something that is so fundamental to business success and if neglected can be very costly and end up causing business owners a whole pile of stress.
On their behalf we are searching for an inspired Sales Team Leader to manage the day to day activities of a high performing phone based Sales team. You will be responsible for driving the sales and lead generation activities of the team and to ensure that they are equipped with all the skills necessary to succeed.
Leadership and Sales Development Responsibilities will include:
- Increase sales activity through a high volume of call activity and quality follow up
- Day to day team training - Identifying and addressing training gaps
- Measure and monitor call and emails, identifying areas where coaching can produce greater efficiency and sales productivity
- Coach team to sell effectively the company's value proposition
- Achieve planned activity - daily, weekly and monthly that generates pipeline and sales volume
- Formulating and managing call lists and reporting on customer and sales team’s metrics.
- Monitor team’s use of the CRM for recording customer data and notes.
- Create a culture of high impact sales contact, efficiently using the time available to maximum effect
- Input into the sales process to optimise the time available, improve quality of conversations and ensure high levels of sales output to achieve the overall team budget.
- Identify areas of non-performance and address.
About You:
- Previous experience in managing and mentoring an Outbound Phone Sales / Lead Generation team
- Results driven: Creates a positive culture of hard work, success and reward.
- A proven track record in managing and mentoring Telephone Sales people
- Ability to analyse and interpret sales metrics, telephony stats, revenue tracking
- Experience in managing and training sales people across all facets of the sales process
- Inspires strong engagement and commitment in others.
- Builds trust, cohesiveness and teamwork
- Ensures the highest standards of commercial, operational & administration governance
- Demonstrates the drive and discipline to achieve repeated success.
- Ability to attract, retain and develop talent.
- A self-starter, well organized…full of energy, drive and commitment.
