KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER I BUSINESS DEV ELOPMENT

  • Experienced BDM/ Key Account Manager to open new & grow existing major accounts
  • Manage Hygiene & PPE sector within Medical, Aged Care & Large Corporate clients
  • Constantly looking at ways to improve service, margin, revenue & share of wallet

Our client is a leading player in the New Zealand market that provides a range of  medical, hygiene, and personal protection products, including disposable gloves, protective clothing, and janitorial ranges. With a nationwide footprint and an extensive range of products and a commitment to first rate service, they are becoming the supplier of choice to many businesses across New Zealand. 

On their behalf, we are seeking an experienced  BDM / Key Account Manager to acquire and manage new business in the Aged Care, Medical, DHB and large corporate space, ( think Sommerset, Bupa, Fonterra, DHB's etc).

We are therefore seeking a seasoned strategic sales person to secure new partnerships with these key accounts, ensuring that they are receiving the most appropriate, value-add, solutions that suit their business needs.

Your target customers will be larger organisations, so your interactions will be at senior management level and you must be confident in this space.

About you:

  • Industry Background: PE, Hygiene, Medical consumables 
  • Desire to bring on new accounts and the network and business development skills to do this
  • Proven experience identifying new business growth opportunities, with a strategic sales focus. 
  • Experience managing relationships across a business, through to C-Suite
  • Previous experience selling into Aged-care, Medical, DHB's, large corporates.
  • Strong pipeline management experience
  •  Ability to pitch solutions that support your client's strategic business objectives.
  • Understanding of how to apply pricing, and customizing individual customer proposals
  • Business administration skills, ability to create effective presentations and proposals.
  • 3+ years or more, BDM / Key Account Management experience at C-suite/ large corporate level
  • High energy, hungry to achieve.
  • A strong closer of business
