THE ROLE: Working with Architects and Designers to get the company’s products specified on current and up and coming projects. This is a commercial sales role, working on projects that will fall into the commercial fit-out market, health and aged care, retail and hospitality, public space, and education markets. COMMERCIAL SAVVY: Demonstrate high level relationship management skills - ensuring proactive, resolution-oriented customer contact. You must have the confidence to hold a commercial sales conversation with key clients, across different sales channels. (From contractors, architects / designers to corporate clients).
STRONG RELATIONSHIPS: This role is all about relationships. The stronger your relationships are with your clients, the more opportunities you will be given to quote on. You will build relationships with the market’s key influencers to secure opportunities for tender for commercial projects. Your refined client servicing skills and sales ability will allow you to assess client’s needs and actively promote the right products.
HIGH ACTIVITY: We need someone who is active in the market. Someone who will get out there and proactively hunt out opportunities. You will not have to find the clients, they are current clients of the business, but they need to know you exist. Be proactive! You will enjoy getting amongst it and networking, attending industry events, (Which can be outside normal business hours). We want someone who will work hard to achieve their goals. You will be working on several projects at once, some with very long sales cycles, so you will need effective sales pipeline management. Your success in the role will be measured by your activity, the company’s brand presence and the jobs that are specified.
ACHIEVEMENT FOCUS: Highly motivated! We want someone who is hungry to achieve and is not satisfied with average. You will want to earn $100K+ in commission on top of your base and will put in the hard work to do this.
BACKGROUND: Commercial Sales experience. ( At least 3 -5+ years). Ideally, you have experience within interiors and existing relationships with architects, designers, but this is not essential.

$80K - $100K + Car + uncapped commission. OTE $150K ++ More for strong achiever.
