In 2021, they are looking to strengthen their Sales and Client Management function, so are actively seeking to appoint a Client Manager to manage a portfolio of SME clients and continue to strengthen these relationships.
This is consultative role, where you will ensure that your clients I.T infrastructure is robust, well managed and their current needs are met, and their future needs are planned for. You will provide value-add support and advice on all facets of IT, identifying opportunities to improve your client’s I.T environment, providing effective solutions, with a focus based on building long-term, sustainable client relationships.
The Role:
- Deepen existing client relationships to enhance opportunities for high quality business outcomes and revenue growth
- Identify and provide solutions around infrastructure, cloud, security, products and managed services
- Perform regular reviews with your client portfolio, ensuring you are adding value and that clients are happy with the services
- Identify solutions to maximise revenue and present proposals for up-sell opportunities
- Planning and managing individual client development plans and sales strategy
- Develop and manage a proactive call cycle, across all clients
- Fulfil internal sales requirements, quoting and responding to client enquiry
- Manage the complexity of Managed IT Service proposals, contracts, and service level agreements
- Work closely with the projects and service team, to ensure clients receive seamless service delivery
About You:
- Genuine experience in a similar function within an MSP
- Projects credibility and confidence. Commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Able to gain clear client agreement, commitment, and closure of sales opportunities
- Problem Solver. Trouble Shooter. Solution Creator
- Experience with Account / Client Management principles and practices
- Ability to plan and manage workload, ensuring appropriate level of attention to clients
- Understands the SME space, preferably has worked in this sector before and knows how it operates
- A desire to provide the best possible service, to ensure long term client relationships
- Enjoy contributing to, and participating in, a team environment.
- 2 – 5+ years in a similar Sales / Account Management role, within the IT industry, preferably from within an MSP
IT Expertise desired
- Microsoft Office 365 licensing
- Servers and Cloud infrastructure experience
- Networking, Cyber Security, Business Continuity
