About the Role
This is both a Business Development and Key Account Management role, where you will be servicing their extensive network of clients - Resellers, Safety stores etc, as well as commercial clients directly. The company many national and local retail clients, and consults closely with the industry for effective PPE solutions for Safety at Heights and Rope Access work.
Your days will be spent servicing an extensive network of clients in safety stores, developing new clients & opportunities, merchandising, liaising with onsite clients, supporting trade events, reporting and documenting, site audits, product training, and specifying PPE equipment needs for a wide variety of work at height applications.
You will be specifying PPE equipment requirements for a wide variety of work at height applications and lend your skills to influencing clients on bringing safety into the business culture.
About You

A proven, successful salesperson with drive and ambition

Self-motivated and consistently strive to exceed sales targets

You communicate easily at all levels and are comfortable presenting to a boardroom or on a construction site

Ability to manage Key Accounts while adding to these with targeted prospecting

Preferred; Knowledgeable of Health and Safety in the Construction industry/trade, work at Height or Abseil industries (e.g. scaffolding, construction, roofing, arboriculture). However, those who have sold a technical product and have interest in the above should still apply.

Fulfilling, recording and documenting PPE Requirements for specific sites and applications

Practical sensibility to translate the Work Safe & H & S theory to the reality of PPE Needs on a work site

Understanding of construction based projects and safety requirements

Confident computer user – accurate data entry of clients' requirements into CRM

Self-starter - Excellent time management with good planning skills

Have no fear of heights

Ability to travel
