About the Role
- Servicing existing key accounts to the absolute highest level, exceeding their expectations day after day.
- Growing these accounts to win wallet-share as well as prospecting for new business (ensuring your hunting, tendering and presentation skills are 2nd to none in this senior level role).
- Approximately 50% of your role will be dedicated to prospecting new business.
- Utilizing your technical labels knowledge to ensure you can provide clients with the latest on spec offering and an "on-brand" complete solution across their business brands.
- Work with decision-makers across multiple areas of each business.
- This role will involve over-night travel to various regions across New Zealand.
About You
- A trusted partner with your clients, you are a relationship and solutions driven sales professional.
- Currently or very recently in the Prime Labels Industry (Packaging BDM/AM experience will also be considered) you are technically strong with proven sales success in New Zealand.
- With no cold calling reluctance. you are engaging and tenacious. Able to present at board level with the proven ability to sell on value vs price.
- You are strong in your relationships across FMCG businesses and have an excellent understanding of who and how supplier decisions are made and retained.
- You are a strong negotiator and commercially experienced in closing sales.
- Your communication skills, both verbal and written are to a high level. You also have excellent IT skills, including Excel.
- You understand costs, margins, forecasting etc. and are able to analyze data and work to a KPI reporting structure.
- You enjoy working in a team, while being willing and able to manage your own workload and at a level where you can work autonomously to achieve the results required.
