  • PLEASE NOTE your region will include the wider Bay of Plenty (approx. 2 night away per month + Auckland and other regions for training on occasion).  Your home- base does need to be the Tauranga region.

The Company and Role

  • Very occasionally a role hits the market that requires a professional, engaging Account Manager who enjoys a high solution sell of technical products. There are over 200 lines - so you need to a quick learner.
  • If will be cultivating relationships and growing spend within a defined market with a unique sell into each category of clients.
  • This role will have you responsible for selling and negotiating supply agreements, managing price and product mix and uncovering and assessing customer needs to develop and execute a value proposition.
  • As well as providing optimum service and delivery to current clients you will identify and lead commercial actions to infiltrate new growth opportunities at targeted prospects.

About You

  • Commercially astute, you are currently in the Tauranga | Bay of Plenty market in a sales role and want to step up into a role for a very well-known brand.  Alternatively, you are specifically in the Signage Substrate or Signage market in a sales role, wanting to make the move to this beautiful region.
  • You enjoy a role that requires a strong technical understanding of the range of solutions, and assimilates the impact materials have on consumer experience.
  • You enjoy keeping up with leading edge raw product innovations and manufacturing processes.
  • You have a genuine interest in your client's goals and outcomes.
  • Your attention to detail is meticulous.
  • Financial forecasting, administration and reporting is also a strength.  But more importantly, you love to build business relationships, and exceed client’s expectations with solutions that benefit their business.
  • Needless to say, you are a superb communicator - both verbal and written. You have a confident, professional yet down to earth attitude allowing you to deal with a range of clients with ease.
  • You are seeking a role where you will continue to grow and progress in your career.
  • Relevant industry experience would include if you are currently selling into;
  • The building / construction market.
  • The signage, labels, print or similar market.

Remuneration & Benefits

An experience dependent base salary (circa $62-$68K depending on your experience), plus car, tools and a monthly commission structure are all on offer for the successful candidate.
