We are a boutique Recruitment Company based in Eden Terrace and over the last few years we have been lucky to have an amazing Junior Consultant on our team. She started with us as in a Recruitment Support/ Administration role and has developed through to a Junior Recruitment Consultant. Sadly she is leaving us, so we need to find someone as equally wonderful, to fill her boots.
Ideally we would like to find someone who also would like a career in Recruitment and will see this role as a great first step into an exciting new career.
The Role:
The position is a busy one, supporting a small team of Recruitment Consultants, helping them with their day-to-day Administration and Recruitment Coordination requirements.
You will learn the ropes in a administration support capacity, while being exposed to how a recruitment agency operates. Slowly over time you can take on recruitment projects of your own and begin to grow in your Recruitment Career.
However, initially you will be performing a broad range of administration tasks, so will definitely need well-developed computing and administration skills. Strong MS Office Suite skills and word processing skills are necessary. You will also need to be pretty organised, with good work-flow processes and time management.
As well as administration, you will really get involved in assisting the Consultants in all aspects of their work, liaising with both clients and candidates, involvement in marketing activities, PA Support, a multitude of tasks to keep them on track and the office working smoothly.
Any previous experience in a Sales environment, would be hugely beneficial. If you are serious about growing as a Recruitment Consultant in the future, having some sales experience and the confidence to pick up the phone and perform new business development tasks will definitely be a bonus.
We are particularly keen on those candidates who have a strong 'can do' attitude, who can use their initiative and are quick to pick things up. We want someone to really own this role and make it their own!
The Role:
- Supporting the marketing activities of the company , (promo videos, articles and posts)
- Managing the company social media sites ( Linked-in, Facebook, etc)
- Light Reception duties; phone, meet & great
- Keeping FRED - the company database updated
- Updating company website, adding new job posts, new articles
- Posting job adverts on Job Boards
- Helping with reference checking processes
- Assisting with candidate management, especially temps
- Client communication. Attending client visits alongside senior Consultants
- General administration – word processing, data entry, filing ( formatting CV’s , Typing up references)
- General errands – mail, (cake / treat run)
- Project work ( there is often random projects to get stuck into).
- Lots of co-ordination work to keep the office/ team running smoothly
- And you will have to LOVE Administration!
- Keeping us on track! Keeping us sane!
As you develop, you will start taking on some more dedicated Recruitment tasks - attending client visits, preparing job advertising, screening candidates, interviewing candidates, shortlisting etc. If you enjoy this, you can spend more and more time developing this side of your role, until you are ready to step into a full time Recruiter position.
